"Hey! Before exploring more, I want you to read this small paragraph written by Divy Deshmukh, this site's developer. It will hardly take 2 minutes but will dispel a whole lot of misconceptions that you may have about Bharat and Vedanta, the philosophy that made Bharat a 'VISHWAGURU.' Another reason, is the invaders that came from outside BHARAT has done a hell lot of destruction to the nation. From destroying temples, universities (NALANDA UNIVERSITY and its 12-floor library was burnt) to raping womens and what not....But we are not going to discuss the history here, that you can read from relevant sources (not from NCERT 😂 in which these invaders who destroyed nation are glorified as heroes).
Now let's start and unfold the "REAL TREASURE OF BHARAT":- ADVAITA VEDANTA.

So, we can say that, "VEDAS ARE WRITTEN BY RISHIS (MAN WITH KNOWLEDGE OF BOTH DIMENSIONS)"

We do not know what are Upanishads and Vedanta, but we have all heard the name of the most popular and oldest scriptures of the world: “THE VEDAS”.

So, there are 4 Vedas: “THE RIGVEDA”, “THE YAJURVEDA”, “THE SAMAVEDA”, and “THE ATHARVAVEDA” right?

The Vedas are considered to be the most fundamental religious text in the “SANATAN DHARMA”, or we can even say that SANATAN or HINDU DHARMA is Vedas only. But the question is “WHO WROTE VEDAS?” I will not talk here about “CHAMATKAR”, “JAADU”, or this religious text that came from “AASMAAN” or any same kind of shit. If you think that these texts came from Akash or something, then either read them or go to a doctor and get treatment.

I’m sorry mate but you are superstitious. Wherever you find this kind of shit about any religious texts then either consider it as shit or educate yourself by first reading science textbooks (class 9 & 10th NCERT recommended). Vedas do not tell you to believe on their teachings, in fact their goal is to make you realize that believing on something is a stupidity. They encourage you to know, understand, and investigate about the external as well as the internal world. When we see different festivals, traditions, stereotypes, superstitions, or customs, we think that this is what HINDU or SANATAN Dharma is.

But it is far more than that, we do not know the reason behind these rituals and traditions, and follow what the past generations has taught us. If you are someone who just live by listening to others opinions or believe what others told you about anything (marriage, love, sex, education, religion, etc.) then, “VEDAS are not for you”. For example, what is a skill? A skill is something that is useful for survival in a particular era. Arjun was considered the most skillful “DHANUDHARI”, because “DHANU VIDYA” was the most valuable skill of that time. Continuous wars take place and to survive in that kind of environment, one must know all the tactics to defend his life. You cannot sit and write code while fighting a war. So, the skills depend on the environment and it may change accordingly.

My point is that the knowledge of Gita (“GITA GYAN”) was given to Arjuna (who was the most skillful man of that time) and not to any common man. You have to be qualified to understand VEDAS. That’s why I have mentioned above that if you are not someone who is interested in knowing and educating yourself about different things then, VEDAS are not for you. "And when I say 'skillful,' I don't mean you have to be the top performer in your school, college, or field. There are thousands of schools in the world, and millions of top achievers emerge every year. By getting good marks in an exam will not make you achieve what the greatest personalities of the world has achieved. And if you are not interested in setting higher goals and achieving the highest (highest means truth in Vedas), and you are someone who want to live a normal live (that 99.99% people around you live) then “VEDAS are not for you”. What I mean by 'skill' is something that rejuvenates you completely, making you forget everything else and immersing you fully." Then only you can enjoy the taste of Vedas.

Otherwise, it may happen that you fail to understand as many people do and then they blame VEDAS by saying “They are very difficult to understand”, “Why we should read all this”, and “What is the need for reading these religious text books”. There is no need for explaining the need and giving answers to other questions. Someone with little education, if you also have these questions then, just consider the thoughts of the above personalities about this. Stand up and take a round of your house, you may find photo frames of Ram, Krishna Buddha, Mahaveer, and other religious figures. The origin of the teachings of all these religious figures is VEDAS only. So, VEDAS are divided into two parts “KARMAKAND” and “GYANKHAND”.

Further, karmkand is divided into three parts: Mantras, Rituals, and all the puja paths you see today, and the GYANKHAND part is called as Upanishad (or Vedanta). So, all the mantras and rituals you see today came from the Karmkand. Well, in brief, I will explain to you what is in Karmkand. As we know Vedas were written nearly 5,000 years ago, when most religions were not in existence also. So, we have to think like this: At the starting of human race we are concerned about getting answer of one question that “WHO AM I” (ME KON HU).

They started trying to know and investigate the external world (nature) to get this answer. As we know nature is made up of five elements (PANCH TATVA in Vedas). PANCH means five and TATVA means elements. They are Prithvi (Earth), Jal (Water), Agni (fire), Vayu (Air), and Akash (space). So, when you see today, that Hindus are worshipping rivers, trees, and other phenomena of nature then this is the reason behind it. Rishis (men with knowledge of the external and internal world) are primarily concerned about nature and you have also heard about different rishis like “Aryabhatta”: a famous mathematician and astronomer, “Rishi Kannad”: who gave a patent of gravitational force 2600 years ago before Newton, and many more. All these people are investigating the secrets of nature only. That’s why you see that in the first part of Vedas, they are worshipping Indra Devta (God of Rain), Agni Devta, Jal Devta, and others. Overall, they are worshipping nature.

Who is a scientist?? “Someone who is concerned about exploring and investigating the secrets and truths of nature (or BRAHMAN).” Right? So, I think it is not wrong to call our Rishis scientists right? But they are more than that…. The most shocking and interesting thing is that somehow our rishis have an idea that the truth is beyond nature.

Just by exploring nature or understanding its secrets is not enough to know “WHO AM I”. After exploring and investigating the external world or nature, they understood that Truth is beyond nature and they have turned the direction of their research from outside to inside. Now, they are not worshipping or investigating the external world more, they are interested in knowing “WHO AM I”. - Then whatever the truths they have discovered is called “ATMAGYAN”. ATMA means “Our true nature” (we) and GYAN means “Knowledge”. So, ATMAGYAN means “SELF KNOWLEDGE”. From here, the rise of the greatest philosophy and oldest philosophy of the world has started “VEDANTA”.

After understanding about the nature, they understood there is something beyond the universe that controls it. But they do not exactly know about the exact entity that runs the whole universe. So, they named it BRAHMA, VISHNU, and MAHESH.

BRAHMA:- Who builds Prakriti (nature) or BRAHMAN.
VISHNU:- Who controls the BRAHMAN.
MAHESH (SHIVA):- That which is beyond the BRAHMAN (UNIVERSE).

Interesting note: As the nature has started after big bang and two significant factors in formation of nature is time and space. Time is also called as “KAL”. As, SHIVA is beyond nature (that is beyond Time (KAL) and Space) and that’s why he is called as “”MAHAKAL”” (THAT WHICH is BEYOND TIME and my friend time is everything so, SHIVA is beyond everything). The existence of universe is because of time (KAL), if time is destroyed then universe will be destroyed. Time or KAL can be destroyed by someone who is beyond Time or who is powerful than time right? That is time can be destroyed by MAHAKAL only, that’s why he is also called as “THE DESTROYER”.

Now, you may ask that ok I have understood that BRAHMA is someone who builds Prakriti, VISHNU controls it, and SHIVA is beyond all of this. But today we see Hindus worshipping idols of these entities, and there are many more things like rituals, customs, and traditions. The answer to this question is “THIS HAPPENS WHEN KNOWLEDGE IS NOT PRESERVED”. “GYAN BAHUT SUSHMA CHEEZ HOTI HAI ISKO GENERATION TO GENERATION SAHI DHANG SE NA TRANSFER KARO TO WO AGYAANTA ME HI BADLATA HAI”.
